Concert merchandise, once a way for artists and bands to promote their music, has evolved into unique brand of its own. But, our favorite items aren't from Justin Bieber or Kanye West or those worn-looking Nirvana or Metallica rock t-shirts that's all over Instagram.

We're still on the TLC tip.

MOMENTS | Mash-up: Rihanna Released “James Joint,” a Belated 4/20 Gift to Stoners Everywhere

We’ve curated the best of digital age-inspired creativity—from user-generated content, mash-ups, and remixes to collaborations between multi-disciplined makers.

Rihanna put out “James Joint,” a musical interlude from her upcoming album, “in celebration of 4/20,” the annual holiday celebrated by weed lovers around the world. We’re pretty sure the musical lovechild of Rihanna and Frank Ocean would sound something like “James Joint,” which is to say, we’re really vibing the brief snippet. We all know that for the dedicated stoner, everyday is 4/20, and in true stoner form, Rihanna actually released the track a day after the international weed holiday. Of course, it’s also entirely possible that her team assumed those who would appreciate “James Joint” would be too busy toking up to listen to the song.

MOMENTS | Mash-up: Rihanna x Kanye West x Paul McCartney Collaborate in “Four Five Seconds”

We’ve curated the best of digital age-inspired creativity—from user-generated content, mash-ups, and remixes to collaborations between multi-disciplined makers.

With absolutely no prior announcement, Rihanna, Kanye West and Paul McCartney dropped surprise new track “Four Five Seconds,” a melodic new single that’s a prefect blend of hip-hop and country. Paul McCartney, who also collaborated with Kanye on his track “Only One,” provides the emotive acoustic guitar accompaniment to Kanye and Rihanna’s emotive belting. The heartbreak-tinged song is deeply confessional piece and is a big departure from Rihanna and Kanye’s earlier collaborations—“All Of The Lights” and “Run This Town.”

MOMENTS | Mash-up: Kanye West x Paul McCartney “Only One”, First Single in Series of Collaborations

What’s a black Beatle anyway? Unless you’ve been in a weeklong NYE hangover haze, you probably know Kanye West collaborated with Paul McCartney to create gently auto-tuned ballad “Only One”. The first single from Kanye’s new album is also first of several collaborations between West and McCartney. Ty Dolla $ign, who provided the ballad’s background vocals, told Billboard to watch out for a “crazy” song that he, Kanye West, Paul McCartney, and Rihanna have teamed up to produce.
