Ballet’s runaway wild child Sergei Polunin teamed up with David LaChapelle, the Fellini of fashion photography, to create a new music video for Hozier’s Grammy-nominated “Take Me To Church.” From the flesh-colored leggings to the classical dance, the LaChapelle-directed video is a little reminiscent of 12-year-old Maddie Ziegler’s interpretive dance in Sia’s “Chandelier.” Hozier’s pop-gospel song didn’t take home the win at the 2015 Grammys, the new video gives a new life to the song, using dance as visual interpretation of the song’s emotional core.
