MOMENTS | Mash-up: Gwen Stefani Returns With Technicolor Collaged Music Video For “Baby Don’t Lie”
We’ve curated the best of digital age-inspired creativity—from user-generated content, mash-ups, and remixes to collaborations between multi-disciplined makers.
She’s back! Gwen Stefani just released synth-heavy (and very catchy) “Baby Don’t Lie”, her first new solo song in eight years. Directed by Sophie Muller and Weirdcore, the music video for “Baby Don’t Lie” is a playful collage of glitches. Muller has worked on seven No Doubt videos, two of the band’s concert films and six Stefani music videos.
The track’s Wizard Of Oz-inspired music video features a digital polygonal yellow brick road and an army of pop art dancers and psychedelic colors and patterns that morph as Stefani veers between reality and a technicolor fantasy.
