Beyond that beautiful cover of Louis Armstrong’s “What A Wonderful World,” we’re surprised musician and artist Alison Mosshart of The Kills never had a cameo during any of Sons of Anarchy’s seven seasons. But now, we can at least see what it would have been like for her to hang alongside the cast. Veteran songwriter and musical director for ‘Sons of Anarchy’ Bob Thiele Jr. put together a band, the Forest Rangers, to soundtrack the Hamlet-meets-motorcycle gang drama. The series came to an end earlier this year, and the Forest Rangers will be releasing their debut album July 10th. One of the songs, “Trying to Believe,” is sung by Alison Mosshart, who is appropriately featured in the song’s music video alongside some of the ‘Sons of Anarchy’ cast.

Our dream of seeing her in one of the show’s many femme fatales was never realized, but we can content ourselves with the visual of her downing drinks and playing roulette with actors Mark Boone Jr. (Bobby Munson), Niko Nicotera (Ratboy), Dayton Callie (Wayne Unser), and Michael Ornstein (Chucky).

It’s Monday, but at least it’s not Tuesday. Get in your groove this week and watch the music video for blues-rock track “Trying to Believe.”
